The only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves – the power our minds can access, is limitless.
When healing is needed, the parts of our body that do not work well, reflect the parts of our life that do not work well, that is, the parts of our life about which there is stress and tension in our consciousness. The stress in our consciousness, related to a particular part of our life, is stored as tension on the physical level in a particular part of our body. Thus, the body can be seen as a map of the consciousness. The healing process involves releasing the tensions, not only from the body, but also from the consciousness, returning to our natural state of balance.
Everything begins in your consciousness
Everything that happens in your life, and everything that happens in your body, begins with something happening in your own consciousness. As you are presented with conditions in your life, you choose to respond in a particular way. You make decisions. You decide what to feel, what to think, what to do. Or you decide, not to decide. That too, is a decision that you take.
When you respond to conditions optimally, you remain in balance. When you respond in a way that results in anxiety or physical symptoms, it means that something is not working for you – something is out of balance.
The natural state of your consciousness is balance. Healing is a return to your natural state of balance and wholeness. In our society, we have been taught to follow the belief that the cause of illness or injury is outside of ourselves. But these things only happen when the conditions in your consciousness permit it.
If you continue to look outside yourself for reasons and for cures, you will not see that the reasons come from within. You will see yourself as a victim and the conditions in your life will not change.
We are each a consciousness in a body. We decide what to think and what to feel. We choose our perceptions and our perceptions create our reality. Whatever you believe to be true – is true for you.
The Human Energy System
All illness, all injury, is the result of blocked energy. Since we direct consciousness – energy with our thoughts, we have the ability to unblock the negative energy. When we do this, the result is a return to wholeness – and slowly healing takes place.
The Language of the Body
Somewhere within you, you have available to you, a state of consciousness in which you are in perfect balance on all levels, experiencing perfect health. This is your natural state of being. When you experience this state of consciousness, you are responding to conditions in your life with optimal effectiveness, and you are in touch with your inner voice, your intuition, and you are listening. And you are healthy.
The Chakras
The chakras are the energy centres in the body, managing the flow of universal life force energy, which we all need in order to survive. It is only when all chakras function freely, as they should, that you are able to examine each situation in your life, on a conscious level, deciding in that moment the proper course of action and the response you choose to make. Then, you are in control.
Since we are each a consciousness, with the same spiritual equipment and abilities, we are all equal beings spiritually. No one has power over you, unless you have given them that power with your perceptions. When you fear another, the perception of fear, of feeling threatened, is what gives your power away. If you did not fear the other, you would not be holding the perception that they are more powerful than you. If you do not perceive them as more powerful than you, there is nothing to fear.
The planetary group consciousness spends about 2000 years in each chakra and events in the world are able to reflect the chakra in which the group consciousness finds itself. For the past 2000 years we have been living in the Piscean Age, the age of the Solar Plexus Chakra. Events in the world have been oriented toward power and control, with individual countries concerned only with their own problems and their own interests. This has led to wars beyond the scale of what previously took place.
The only constant is change. Through change, we learn, and through learning, we grow. The nature of consciousness, which is what and who we are, is to grow, through learning, through change.
Receiving your Healing
For each of us, our perceptions create our reality. When we discuss perception, we are talking about what the person has chosen to think, and to feel and to interpret events. There is always a choice.
It is important for the healer to have no judgment and to believe that healing is taking place and for the person to believe that they can be healed.
If you have accepted the idea that you are totally responsible for everything that happens in your life, and also for everything that happens in your body, and therefore for everything that happens in your consciousness, you must also have accepted the idea that no one else is responsible for you, or for the things that have happened in your life.
Ego
When the personality pulls in a direction different from the spirit, it is often called the ego. While many spiritual disciplines are oriented toward destroying or subjugating the ego, we can also see this as a way of fighting with a part of ourselves, creating additional tensions by discriminating against that part of us, and thus making it more difficult for us to free ourselves from the process.
What makes more sense is an acceptance of every part of ourselves, combined with a conscious choice to align ourselves with what is true for us at a deep level, aligning the personality and spirit, and thus removing the tension without having to diminish or destroy any part of who we are. It is necessary for us to make a conscious choice to live a life aligned with our divine purpose.
Healing begins with an emotional acceptance that there is something that needs to be healed. Accepting that something needs to be healed, allows the act of self-love of wanting the healing to take place.
When we accept others for who they are, and their way of being is no longer judged, appreciation for who that being is, has the space to grow in us and we feel better for it. When there are no expectations, there are no disappointments – there is acceptance, also known as love.
The most powerful force in the Universe is the consciousness within each of us. It is our responsibility to use our consciousness lovingly and wisely.
